RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research, write, and edit news stories for print and online platforms.
• Conduct interviews with sources, officials, and the public.
• Cover a variety of events, including press conferences, community gatherings, and breaking news.
• Verify facts and ensure accuracy in all reporting.
• Adhere to journalistic ethics and standards.
• Collaborate with editors and other team members to produce compelling content.
• Stay up-to-date with current events and relevant issues.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Journalist or in a similar role.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong research and interviewing abilities.
• Familiarity with journalistic ethics and principles.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using digital media tools and platforms is an advantage.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 2 years of experience in journalism.
