Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate. (CERTIFIED COPY)
• NRC (CERTIFIED COPY)
• Relevant qualifications or experience for the position applied for.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

• Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, and pans using manual or machine methods.
• Sweep and mop floors, wipe down counters, and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist in stocking shelves, refrigerators, and storage areas with food supplies and cleaning materials.
• Empty trash bins, separate recyclables, and ensure proper disposal of kitchen waste.
• Ensure proper use and care of kitchen equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Receive and store incoming deliveries, ensuring items are properly stored and rotated (FIFO).
• Assist kitchen staff during busy periods as directed by the Head Chef or Supervisor.
