JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for delivering set targets from the corporate bucket through partner acquisition, relationship management and implementation of pre and post launch below the line and above the line (BTL/ATL) activities.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
- Engaging corporate partners to accept Airtel money as a means of payment in retail outlets as well as remote payments.
- Acquiring new partners to increase transactional count, volume and revenue.
- Developing programs that will assist in educating customers on new and existing Bill, Bulk and Business to Business and integrated payment.
- Achieving year on year growth in total active merchants recruited via direct and indirect channels.
- Proposing new services to enhance Airtel money ‘merchant eco system to help achieve target revenues.
- Analyzing partner needs and being able to provide innovative solutions.
- Coordinate with operations and technical teams to ensure timely project rollout
- Focus on building strong relationships and ensuring partner satisfaction to drive long-term growth and collaborations.
- Conduct Merchant Training and education for new accounts acquired via direct and indirect by partners.
- Provide back-office support for Customer Experience (CX), corporate partners, and retail queries.
- Resolve day-to-day queries from various stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business-related field.
- Excellent with MS Office products.
- Knowledge on Airtel products and services.
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- At least two (2) years of experience in a financial institution, telecommunications and or related industry
- At least one (1) year of experience in Sales / Marketing
- Abel to operate in a performance driven organization
- Ability to Manage Corporate Relationships
