Job Requirements – Legal Counsel
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position at a Financial Institution or law firm.
- 3 years post admission to the Bar.
- Law Degree & Advocate of the High Court for Zambia.
- Good Communication and Presentation Skills, Orally & Verbally , Good analytical and critical thinking skills. Adherence to Corporate Governance Tenets.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters, disputes, and related legal proceedings.
- Monitor legislation and regulatory developments, conduct legal research, review procedures, and provide legal opinions and reports to the Head of Legal/Company Secretary.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on contracts and other legal documents.
- Provide legal opinions and advice, review policies and procedures, and draft various legal documents as required.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
