JOB PURPOSE

To give support the Loan Officer team in loan processing, client on boarding, and portfolio management while gaining hands-on experience in the microfinance sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist clients with loan applications and documentation
  • Conduct basic credit assessment and data analysis
  • Support loan disbursement and repayment follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate client records and reports
  • Provide excellent customer service at the Kitwe Branch
  • Participate in marketing and field activities as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Age: 25 years and below
  • Must be a fresh graduate from a recognized University or College
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or any Business-related program
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High levels of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn and grow in the microfinance sector
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team

CAREER GROWTH

Successful interns who demonstrate satisfactory performance in their duties will be considered for appointment to the full-time Loan Officer position.
