MLF Zambia invites applicants to fill in the Loan Officer Trainees in the following Microloan regions
Core duties:
The Loan Officer Trainee will report to the Branch Head.
Responsibilities
- Work hand in hand with the assigned Loan Officer and learn how to identify appropriate clients.
- Work hand in hand with the assigned Loan Officer to learn and observe Centre Management procedures.
- After a minimum of two (2) months of training, work as a Relief Loan Officer to cover for Loan Officers who are unavailable in the branch. To support a Loan Officer, meet target, conduct a centre meeting, and follow up on arrears when required.
- During the training period, trainees without rider’s licence will be required to learn how to ride and obtain rider’s license.
- Learn how to establish, train and monitor credit groups for successful loan application and repayment.
- Learn the preparation of loan requests and disbursement of loans according to MLF procedures and policies.
- Learn how to compile end of day reports and preparation of weekly activities planner.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Branch Head
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Must have a full Grade 12 certificate with Credits or better in Mathematics and English.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to learn how to ride a motor bike
- Below 30 years of age.
- Work hand in hand with the assigned Loan Officer and learn how to identify appropriate clients.
- Work hand in hand with the assigned Loan Officer to learn and observe Centre Management procedures.
