Background
Longrun Finance Limited, a growing financial services company based in Lusaka, is looking for dynamic, competent and results-oriented individuals to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Receive and review loan applications and supporting documentation.
- Ensure all required KYC and client documentation is complete and accurate.
- Capture and maintain accurate client and loan information in the company’s systems.
- Conduct preliminary verification of employment, income, business information and supporting documents.
- Facilitate credit reference checks and compile relevant information for credit assessment.
- Communicate with applicants regarding outstanding documentation and application requirements.
- Prepare complete loan files for credit assessment and approval.
- Prepare loan agreements and other required loan documentation.
- Ensure approved loans meet documentation requirements before disbursement.
- Maintain organised and confidential physical and electronic client files.
- Update loan records and track applications throughout the processing cycle.
- Liaise with Credit, Finance and other relevant departments to ensure efficient loan processing.
- Provide professional and timely feedback to clients.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience.
- Experience in banking, microfinance, lending, credit administration or loan processing is an added advantage.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good computer skills and ability to work with loan management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational and record-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential client and financial information responsibly.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must demonstrate integrity, professionalism and accountability.
