Logistics & Operations | Zambia
Bienvenue Private Security Ltd is looking for a skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join its operations team.
The successful candidate will oversee logistics, fleet and inventory operations to keep the company's security services running smoothly across all client sites.
THE ROLE
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing logistics, fleet, inventory, procurement and related operational activities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage fleet including vehicles, fuel, servicing, insurance and road tax.
- Control inventory including radios, torches, batteries, stock takes and issue/receive records.
- Handle procurement by sourcing suppliers, obtaining three quotations and raising LPOs.
- Ensure compliance with ZRA/RTSA documentation, logbooks and company policies.
- Prepare reports including weekly and monthly reports on fuel, mileage, stock and costs.
- Solve operational problems, including urgent vehicle breakdowns and other logistics challenges.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in logistics or operations. Experience in security or fleet management is a strong advantage.
- Valid Driver's Licence.
- Clean police clearance.
- Computer skills, including Excel and GPS/Fleet software.
- Willingness to work odd hours, weekends and public holidays.
- Physically fit for site visits and loading/offloading.
