About the Role

Huachen International Supply Chain Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our supply chain operations in Zambia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the efficient flow of goods from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the supply chain, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and customs clearance.
• Negotiate with carriers, suppliers, and service providers to secure competitive rates and service levels.
• Monitor and analyze logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs, import/export, and transportation laws.
• Manage and mentor the logistics team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Develop and manage the logistics budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar senior logistics role.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles, logistics operations, and international trade.
• Experience with logistics software and systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
