A reputable real estate company based in Lusaka is seeking a competent and reliable Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of its properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating maintenance works, supervising repairs and ensuring that properties are maintained to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance and repair works across company properties.
- Inspect buildings and identify maintenance requirements including structural, plumbing, electrical and civil works.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors performing maintenance or repair works.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and prepare periodic reports.
- Assist in the procurement of maintenance materials and services.
- Monitor property infrastructure to ensure safety and compliance with building standards.
- Provide technical advice on maintenance and improvement works.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in construction, property maintenance, or infrastructure works.
- Practical knowledge of building maintenance and repair works.
- Ability to supervise contractors and coordinate maintenance projects.
- Good organisational and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
