Responsibilities or duties

• Develop and manage weekly and monthly maintenance plans for heavy mobile equipment
• Prepare and oversee work orders, job cards, and service schedules
• Coordinate maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of planned tasks
• Monitor maintenance backlog and prioritize jobs effectively
• Track servicing and component replacements to maintain equipment reliability
• Generate and analyze maintenance reports and performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures and safety standards

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Planning, or a related field
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in maintenance planning within mining, construction, or heavy equipment sectors
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is advantageous
• Good knowledge of planned maintenance processes and systems
• Familiarity with Komatsu, CAT, Bell, or similar heavy equipment is a plus
