Background

National Breweries Plc is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Maintenance Planner to join their Technical Department. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement in plant reliability through effective maintenance planning, asset care management, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating equipment and process problem-solving initiatives.
  • Developing, planning, and coordinating scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Planning and managing plant shutdowns and maintenance projects.
  • Developing and implementing Asset Care Plans to improve equipment reliability.
  • Analyzing maintenance data and generating asset care reports.
  • Identifying maintenance improvement opportunities and failure root causes.
  • Maintaining the integrity of the CMMS/COSWIN maintenance management system.
  • Monitoring maintenance schedules and optimizing maintenance activities.
  • Generating maintenance performance reports.
  • Collaborating with production teams to ensure efficient operational planning.
  • Driving continuous improvement and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

Preferred Requirements include:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in beverage, brewing, or FMCG manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to project planning and shutdown management.
  • Advanced maintenance planning and reliability improvement expertise.
  • Sound understanding of maintenance systems and methodologies such as: TPM, RCM, CMMS/COSWIN, Condition Monitoring, RAM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence teams and drive compliance with maintenance standards.
