We are looking for skilled HVAC/Electrical Technicians to support cooling, heating, and electrical systems across the camp.

Job Description

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC & electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC equipment, including air handlers, chillers, and boilers
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in lighting, power distribution, and control systems
• Conduct energy efficiency checks and recommend improvements to reduce energy consumption
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs promptly and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of parts and supplies
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure smooth operations of facilities
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC and electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all maintenance and repair activities
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and apprentices
• Participate in on-call rotations to address after-hours emergencies as needed

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certification in HVAC or electrical engineering required
• Valid HVAC technician license and/or Journeyman Electrician license
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC and electrical systems maintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge of building automation systems and energy management
• Familiarity with local and national building codes and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours emergencies
• Experience working in hospitality or remote locations is a plus

Full grade twelve school certificate.
