Nkana Water Supply and Sanitation Company is a Commercial Water Utility providing quality water and sanitation services to its customers in Kitwe, Kalulushi, Chambishi and Luanshya. Manager – Project Implementation (x01)

1.0 Job Purpose

To manage the implementation of water and sanitation projects in order to expand into new service areas and sustain operations.Career counseling services

2.0 Job Accountabilities

• To manage effectively the implementation of water and sanitation projects in order to expand into new service areas and sustain operations.
• To manage effectively the monitoring and evaluation of infrastructure projects in order to ensure compliance to project specifications.
• To supervise and undertake timely implementation of performance management systems in order to monitor and evaluate performance and ensure attainment of departmental objectives.
• To supervise effectively the utilization of human, financial and material resources in order to ensure attainment of set objectives.
• To manage effectively the implementation of water and sanitation projects in order to expand into new service areas and sustain operations.
• To manage effectively the monitoring and evaluation of infrastructure projects in order to ensure compliance to project specifications.

3.0 Qualifications and Experience

• Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (05) credits including English and Mathematics.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
• Fully paid up member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia.
• 8 years, 2 of which should be in management.

4.0 Skills, Knowledge and Other Attributes

• Must have interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Must be assertive, high ethical standards, respectful and collaborative.
• Must have the ability to cope with high levels of responsibility with confidential matters and of high integrity.
