Manager-Training and Development (x 1)
Reports to: Head-HR
Job Purpose:
Implement and monitor the company Training and Development Policy:
Key Result Areas & Accountabilities
- Conduct Exployer Training Needs Analys
- Formulate, implement and monitor company’s training & development policy
- Coordinate Induction and Orientation programs
- Coordinate training programs internal & external) ios employees
- Implement and control maining budget as approved.
- Ensure that all employees are assessed within the prescribed period.
- Ensure tint all recommendations following staff pestormance appraisal are promptly actioned
- Administer Students’ Scholarship programs
- Coordinate jobs analysis and evaluation
- Provides advice to line managers and employees on company policies
- Coordinate half yearly and anmaal staff appraisal
- Coordinate registration and renewal of employees’ memberships for vations professional institutions
Professional Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 certificate
- Degree in Human Resource Management or related Social Science
- Diploma in education/Teaching or Trainer experience
- At least 5years’ experience in HR in a busy mining environment and ability to work under pressure
- Practical experience in HR software application
- Current Membership of the ZIHRM
- Good computer skills
- Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZQA) certificate of verification and evaluation of qualification will be required before the job offer
Skills, Knowledge & Characteristics
- Excellent salytical and evaluation skills
- Possession of good leadership skills
- Good command of both oral and written communication.
- Ability to work with manmum supervision
- Excellent knowledge of the current labour regulations
Working Environment / Conditions:

Facilitates the recruitment process of expatriate employees and participates in job interviews for local jobs. Administers all immigration formalities to ensure that all legal requirements for expatriates are fulfilled Ensures that all leave applications for expatriates are processed and maintains up-to-date records of leave balances Ensures that all professional membership for eligible staff are timely processed according to the respective professional board requirements Ensure that all executive correspondences are well administered and that they are directed to the right officials Ensure the effective and timely provision of secretarial services to senior management and administers the company email ID Administers travel passage entitlements for expatriate employees as per their terms and conditions as well as arranging for timely travel bookings, hotel reservations and airport transfers for expatriates, visitors and other officials. Ensures that visitors and senior managers are housed in clean and hygiene environments with all required facilities in place Supervises all housekeeping and guest house staff to ensure that they are efficient and presentable all the time
Good computer skills Good command of both oral and written communication Possession of good leadership skills Ability to work with minimum supervision Excellent public relations and interpersonal skills
Grade 12 certificate Diploma/Degree in Management Studies/Business administration/Social sciences or any other related field 6 years’ work experience in a similar position Experience in providing secretarial services to executives an added advantage Good experience in networking with stakeholders Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZQA) certificate of verification and evaluation of qualification will be required before the job offer
