Background
City University of Science and Technology (CUST) is inviting applications from dynamic, innovative, and results-driven individuals to fill the position of Marketing Officer.
We are looking for a passionate professional who understands modern marketing strategies and can drive student recruitment, brand visibility, and institutional growth.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s Degree will be an added advantage).
- Proven knowledge of Digital Marketing.
- Certification in Digital Marketing or related area will be an added advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong digital marketing skills (social media management, paid ads, email marketing, SEO basics).
- Content creation skills (graphics, short videos, copywriting).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills (ability to interpret marketing data and generate insights).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media analytics tools.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools) will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase student enrollment.
- Manage and grow the university’s digital platforms and social media presence.
- Coordinate outreach campaigns, school visits, and community engagement programs.
- Create engaging promotional materials (digital and print).
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare marketing reports.
- Support branding and public relations activities of the institution.
