Background
The Marketing Officer will support the execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and achieve business objectives across multiple markets. The role involves coordinating campaigns, creating content, managing digital touchpoints, and analysing performance to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns, product launches, and corporate initiatives.
- Create engaging content for digital and traditional channels, including social media, email newsletters, brochures, and website updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Communications) to generate relevant and brand-aligned content.
- Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics (e.g., campaign reach, engagement, conversion rates) and prepare monthly reports with actionable insights.
- Manage online brand presence, including social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube), ensuring consistent brand voice and timely responses to inquiries.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and recommend innovative approaches.
- Coordinate with external agencies, designers, and media partners as needed.
- Maintain brand reputation by escalating sensitive issues and ensuring all content complies with corporate standards.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 3 years in marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role. Experience in a corporate or multinational environment is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer)
- Working knowledge of design/video tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Basic understanding of SEO and website content management
- Ability to interpret data and analytics to inform decisions

- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Excellent organisation, project management, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Sound judgment in commercially or politically sensitive environments
