GRADUATE TRAINEE OPPORTUNITIES – FIRST QUANTUM MINERALS First Quant

First Quantum Minerals is inviting applications from recent graduates to join its Graduate Trainee Programme at FQM Trident Limited in Kalumbila.

The programme provides structured on-the-job training, mentorship and practical exposure to mining and business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in structured training across various departments
• Support daily operations and departmental projects
• Conduct research, analyse data and prepare reports
• Work with senior staff and cross-functional teams
• Adhere to safety, environmental and company policies
• Participate in mentorship and professional development
• Propose innovative ideas and solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in one of the eligible fields listed above
• No prior work experience required
• Mining internships or practical experience are an advantage
• Familiarity with mining legislation, SOPs and operational practices
• Understanding of safety protocols and risk assessment
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong safety awareness
• Willingness to be based on-site in Kalumbila
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment
