Goldenlay Agri. Ltd is the largest producer, supplier, and distributor of table eggs across Zambia, and boasting a brand familiar to retailers and consumers alike. Goldenlay is hereby inviting applications from suitable qualified candidates to fill multiple positions: -

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical repairs related to fabrication work as assigned and in line with instructions.
• Perform fabrication tasks and repairs within poultry houses.
• Work as part of a team to execute mechanical and maintenance activities, including machine installation, alignment, overhauling, repairs, maintenance of de-dusting units, and chain tensioning.
• Conduct oiling and greasing of chains, bearings, and related components.
• Assist in servicing, replacing, constructing, assembling, and fitting components for machinery, installations, and equipment in poultry houses.
• Assist during breakdowns, maintenance operations, overhauls, and commissioning of machines, equipment, and engineering systems in poultry houses.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, proper work practices, procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Follow correct equipment handover procedures—ensure tools, materials, and personnel are cleared from the work area and confirm that equipment is safe before resuming operations.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Craft Certificate or equivalent in a mechanical/technical field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
