NORTH WESTERN PROVINCIAL HEALTH OFFICE (PEPFAR/CDC PROJECT)
Organization: North Western Provincial Health Office (CDC/PEPFAR Project)
Responsibilities or duties
- Provide on-site clinical mentorship and capacity building to healthcare workers on Advanced HIV Disease (AHD) management, including screening, diagnosis, and treatment .
- Support the implementation of the full AHD package according to national guidelines and ensure integration of AHD services within HIV, TB, MCH, OPD, and inpatient departments .
- Monitor key AHD indicators, conduct clinical audits and mortality reviews, and provide remedial actions for identified gaps .
- Lead and support data reviews with facility teams to promote the use of data for decision-making .
- Support documentation, reporting, and timely submission of program data to meet donor and organizational requirements .
- Strengthen the linkage between laboratory and clinical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care .
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Relevant Grade 12 School Certificate
Relevant Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification for the position applied for
Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills
ZAQA-verified academic qualifications will be an added advantage
Experience needed
Relevant work experience as specified for the position

Contract Type: 10-Month Contract (Renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds)
