We are a reputable company based in Lusaka, currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting our range of neuropsychiatric products to healthcare professionals, contributing to the company's sales growth and market presence.
Job Summary
As a Medical Representative, your primary responsibility will be to promote and market our neuropsychiatric product portfolio to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. This role demands strong communication skills, in-depth product knowledge, and a proactive approach to building lasting professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals to promote the company’s products
- Educate clients on the features and benefits of neuropsychiatric medications
- Maintain and grow professional relationships within the medical and pharmaceutical community
- Identify new business opportunities and convert them into sales
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Provide market feedback and intelligence to management
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities using reporting tools
Qualifications
- Minimum: Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, or Registered Nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in a related medical or pharmaceutical field
- Minimum 1 year experience in promoting neuropsychiatric products
- Proven success in medical sales, particularly within the neuropsychiatric segment

- Strong knowledge of neuropsychiatric drugs and therapies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
