Organization: Psalm 91 Ministry

Psalm 91 Ministry, a faith-based nonprofit organization serving orphans and vulnerable children in Zambia, is seeking a committed and spiritually mature Ministry Chaplain to join its team.

The Ministry Chaplain will provide Christ-centered spiritual leadership, discipleship, and pastoral care to students, staff, families, and community members. The role includes leading chapel services and Bible studies, offering basic counseling and psychosocial support, conducting child vulnerability assessments, facilitating adult literacy and life-skills education, participating in community outreach and home visits, and providing spiritual oversight for Kingdom Camp activities. The Chaplain will also contribute to reporting, administration, and safeguarding responsibilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 12 certificate with five (5) O-Levels
  • Diploma in Theology, Bible Studies (with teaching methodology/Teaching Council certification), Counseling, Social Work, Education, or a related field (degree is an added advantage)
  • Experience working with orphans and vulnerable children
  • Background in ministry, counseling, community outreach, or adult education is an advantage

  • Strong Christian faith and commitment to biblical values
  • Ability to counsel, mentor, and disciple children and adults
  • Good communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work in the field and in low-resource settings

  • Compassionate, patient, and emotionally mature
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Self-motivated, culturally sensitive, and community-oriented
