Mobile Crane Operator (1 Position)

Operate the crane: Safely lift, move, and position heavy materials, equipment, and loads to precise locations on-site .

Pre-operational checks: Conduct thorough daily inspections of the crane, including all mechanical, hydraulic, and safety systems, and complete required checklists .

Interpret instructions: Work from lift plans, load charts, and verbal or hand signals to understand lifting capacities, load weights, and the required radius .

Set up the crane: Position and stabilize the crane using outriggers and mats, ensuring it is correctly set up and level for safe operation .

Perform routine maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and perform basic servicing on the crane, and report any mechanical issues promptly .

Adhere to safety protocols: Strictly follow all safety regulations and operational procedures to prevent accidents and equipment damage .

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and experience for the position applied for.
• Valid driver's licence, permits, and operator certificates where applicable.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a construction environment.
