KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose, service, and repair motor vehicles (petrol and diesel)
• Conduct routine vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance
• Identify mechanical and electrical faults and carry out repairs
• Maintain service records and vehicle maintenance logs
• Inspect vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance
• Repair or replace worn or damaged vehicle parts
• Respond to vehicle breakdowns and emergency repairs
• Ensure tools and workshop areas are kept clean and safe
• Comply with company safety policies and transport regulations

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of petrol and diesel engines
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including emergencies
• Honest, reliable, and disciplined
• Physically fit and safety conscious
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail

• Craft Certificate, Trade Test Certificate, or Diploma in Motor Vehicle Mechanics / Automotive Engineering
• Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic
