JOB DETAILS:

JCHX Mining Construction Zambia Ltd invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the following positions under the JCHX Mopani Project in Mufulira. Walk-in interviews will be conducted on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Raya Workshop, near Mbwe Garage, Mufulira, starting at 09:00 hrs.

1. Loader Operators (ST 1030 & XYL-10)

Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate ST 1030 and XYL-10 loaders to move ore and waste materials in underground mining operations.
• Perform pre-operational checks and minor maintenance on equipment.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation in compliance with mining safety standards.
• Collaborate with mining teams to meet production targets.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid Operator Training Certificate for ST 1030 and/or XYL-10 loaders.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating loaders in underground mining.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Good communication skills.

2. Dump Truck Operators (MT 436B & UK-30)

Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MT 436B and UK-30 dump trucks to haul ore and waste materials underground.
• Adhere to load capacity limits and safe tipping practices.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and report maintenance needs.
• Comply with underground traffic rules and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid Operator Training Certificate for MT 436B and/or UK-30 dump trucks.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating dump trucks in underground mining.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Good communication skills.

3. Blasting-in-Charge/PICs

Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute blasting operations in underground mining areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and blasting regulations.
• Prepare and inspect blasting sites, including charging and priming explosives.
• Coordinate with mining teams to ensure safe and effective blasting activities.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid unrestricted Zambian Blasting License.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in blasting operations in underground mining.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Good communication skills.

4. Shift Bosses

Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise underground mining operations during assigned shifts.
• Ensure adherence to safety, production, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with operators, blasters, and other personnel to achieve shift targets.
• Maintain accurate shift reports and address operational challenges promptly.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Shift Boss & Section Boss RBS Training.
• Valid unrestricted Zambian Blasting License.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Shift Boss in underground mining.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Good communication skills.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: professional certificate
