National Milling Corporation Limited, is a reputable multinational milling company specialized in the manufacturing of various flour, mealie meal, stockfeed products also trades in rice and other products wishes to engage flexible and energetic persons to fill one (1) vacant position of Packerman in Lusaka.

Responsibilities or duties

• Perform tasks of packaging various manufactured products into various labeled bags according to weight and type ensuring to check that all those packaged are secure and in good condition
• Ensure all manufactured products are packaged in the nominated bags and according to the required weight. Also ensuring that the date of manufacturer expiration is indicated on them
• Visually check all manufactured products being packaged for contamination ensuring that the supervisor is notified of any non-conformances timely
• Package manufactured products as per packing schedule ensuring to eliminate contamination of those which are packaged
• Prevent damage of all packaged manufactured products by appropriately arranging and stacking them on the assigned pallets
• Ensure that all packaged manufactured products are thoroughly checked, damage free and are without any foreign matter and if such anomalies are detected shall be held responsible.
• Maintain the assigned work area neat, clean, orderly and in an efficient manner

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Interested candidates must have a full grade 12 school certificate or better with three (3) years’ working experience in a similar role.
