NORTH WESTERN PROVINCIAL HEALTH OFFICE (PEPFAR/CDC PROJECT)
Responsibilities or duties
- Provide technical leadership and scientific guidance to all facilities implementing pediatric ART strategies, ensuring alignment with national guidelines and evidence-based practices .
- Identify and address implementation bottlenecks in pediatric antiretroviral treatment (ART) care across health facilities .
- Ensure strong linkages between PMTCT, Early Infant Diagnosis (EID), and OVC care programs to intensify pediatric case finding .
- Provide direct supervision and mentorship to clinical officers and healthcare providers on pediatric ART care to ensure high-quality services and achieve 100% ART optimization and viral suppression targets among children living with HIV .
- Lead quality improvement and program evaluation activities, including data analysis to identify gaps and develop remedial action plans .
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Relevant Grade 12 School Certificate
- Relevant Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification for the position applied for
- Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant professional body (where applicable)
Experience needed
Relevant work experience as specified for the position

Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills
ZAQA-verified academic qualifications will be an added advantage
