Background

Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Valid Code B Driver’s Licence.
  • Demonstrated sales and leadership capability.
  • Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in the transport, trucking, automotive or related industry.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Technical knowledge of truck and trailer parts.
  • Stock control experience.
  • Knowledge of truck and trailer parts.
  • Self-motivated and target driven.
  • Strong communication, customer service and negotiation skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Service and support existing parts customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Grow market share within the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Provide excellent pre-sales and after-sales support.
  • Prepare quotations and process customer orders.
  • Manage and control depot operations where required.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment requirements.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
  • Ensure customer queries and complaints are resolved promptly.
  • Perform general administrative duties associated with the position.
