LIAS university College has over 20 years of experience in training health professionals at Diploma level and has up to date, qualified over 5,000 registered Nurses and Clinical Officers. Considering the factors of growth and changing stakeholder environment being experienced across the country, a number of opportunities and challenges have emerged with this phenomenon. Hence the College has embarked on a new strategy to maintain its progress. In view of this, the College is therefore seeking the services of a selfless goal-oriented, qualified and skilled individual to take up the following positions;
PERSONAL ASSISTANT (1)
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secretarial with three(3) years of working experience in a busy organization and Office management, or Diploma in Secretarial and Office management with five years working experience in a busy organisation
- Handles general office duties such as managing schedules, correspondence, and filing.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies
Job Purpose
To provide high-level executive, administrative, and coordination support to the Principal and administration at large in order to facilitate effective leadership, communication, and decision-making in an academic environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Public interface: Serving as primary contact points for the university college seeking services or information about our institution.
- Record maintenance: Keeping detailed records of proceedings, decisions, and public communications for transparency and accountability.
- Coordination activities: Facilitating communication between different departments and ensuring collaborative approaches to the institution.
- Provide executive and administrative support to the Principal and the University at large.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare briefs, minutes, and follow-up action points;
- Manage confidential correspondence, information, records, and schedules;
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Principal
- Support coordination and tracking of institutional programmes and assignments.
- Perform basic clerical duties, such as running office equipment, organizing files and filing systems, creating and maintaining correspondence, answering telephones and performing other duties delegated by your supervisor.
