WeCure Pharmacy, Zambia's leading online pharmacy, is expanding its team and seeking dedicated professionals for multiple positions.

PHARMACY TECHNOLOGIST (2 Positions)

  • Assist the Pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, including counting, packaging, and labeling medications.
  • Receive and verify incoming pharmaceutical supplies against delivery notes, ensuring correct quantities, batch numbers, and expiry dates.
  • Manage the day-to-day organization of the pharmacy dispensary, ensuring shelves are well-stocked, clean, and properly arranged.
  • Perform routine stock counts and assist in inventory reconciliation to identify shortages, overages, or expired items.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and prescription logs in both physical and digital systems.
  • Provide basic patient/customer education on medication usage, storage, and side effects under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
  • Assist in processing insurance claims and private billing for prescriptions.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) guidelines and maintain a hygienic, safe environment for patients and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exceptional customer service and pharmaceutical care
  • Dispense medicines and provide pharmaceutical advice where applicable
  • Maintain inventory, stock records, and monitor expiry dates
  • Prepare daily operational reports and support branch operations
  • Participate in community health awareness campaigns
  • Create health-related content for social media platforms
  • Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Pharmacy Technologist

  • Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
  • Registered or eligible for registration with HPCZ

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and POS systems
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work day, evening, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Preference given to candidates residing in or near Chalala, Avondale, Chilenje, Woodlands, Libala, Salama Park, Ibex Hill, Chelston, PHI, Mtendere, Obama, or Kaunda Square
