JOB DETAILS:

A reputable organization in Lusaka is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to provide specialized home physiotherapy services.

Location: Civic Center, Lusaka
Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver home-based physiotherapy to a child under 2 years with developmental challenges due to jaundice.
• Assess and develop tailored treatment plans to support the child’s physical development.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to meet the child’s evolving needs.
• Collaborate with family members to ensure effective care and provide guidance on home exercises.
• Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions and progress.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• 2-3 years of professional experience as a Physiotherapist (students not eligible).
• Deep understanding of childhood development and experience working with children with special needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage sensitively with young children and their families.
• Valid registration with the relevant professional body in Zambia.

Salary: K3,000 per month.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: associate degree
