JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities:
• Manage all dairy operations including milking routines, hygiene, and feeding
• Oversee animal health, including vaccinations and disease control
• Supervise and train dairy staff
• Maintain and operate milking equipment and cold storage systems
• Record and report milk production, breeding, and veterinary interventions
• Ensure compliance with biosecurity and animal welfare standards
• Report to the Farm Manager and support efficient dairy planning
Requirements for Both Roles
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in beef, dairy, or poultry farming
• Strong knowledge of animal care, feeding, and health management
• Experience leading teams and managing farm staff
• Ability to work independently in remote rural areas
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with sustainable or regenerative farming is an added advantage
