JOB DETAILS:
JOB OPPORTUNITY: POULTRY MEN (LAYERS)
Farms is looking for dedicated and hardworking Poultry Men to join our team in Ndola. We are seeking individuals with a strong interest in poultry farming, particularly in the layer production sector.
Requirements:
- Certificate in Agriculture or a related field
- Interest in poultry farming (layers)
- Experience is an added advantage but not required
- Must be hardworking, disciplined, and willing to learn
- Able to work in a farm environment
- Willing to relocate to Ndola
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the daily care and management of chickens
- Egg collection and proper handling
- Feeding and monitoring bird behavior and health
- Water management (ensuring birds have clean and adequate water)
- Removal of chicken manure and maintaining cleanliness
- General maintenance of poultry houses and equipment
- Following farm routines and instructions
