Primary School Teacher Opportunities
Primary School Teachers will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and challenging curriculum that supports students’ academic and personal development. The role requires creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture a primary class, supporting the holistic development of all students.
- Collaborate with the Head Teacher and colleagues to ensure effective teaching and learning.
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with a rigorous curriculum.
- Create inquiry-based classrooms that promote critical thinking, trust, respect, and fairness.
- Utilize relevant resources and digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Develop assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
- Communicate professionally with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Offer pastoral support and actively participate in extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full Grade 12 certificate with at least 5 credits.
- Primary Teacher’s Diploma or higher qualification.
- Registered and licensed member of the Teaching Council of Zambia.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at a reputable school.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent IT and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A creative, enthusiastic approach and a growth mindset.
