We are seeking an enthusiastic, patient, and qualified Primary School Teacher to join our tutoring team. In this role, you will provide personalized one-on-one and small group instruction to primary school students (Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2 or Grades 1–6). Your goal is to spark a love for learning, boost academic confidence, and help students master core subjects through engaging, tailored lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Targeted Instruction: Deliver high-quality, engaging tutoring sessions in core primary subjects (English/Literacy, Mathematics, and Science).
- Assess Learning Needs: Identify each student’s unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles through diagnostic chats and active observation.
- Create Lesson Plans: Design customized lesson plans, activities, and supplemental learning materials aligned with the student's school curriculum.
- Track and Report Progress: Monitor student growth through regular quizzes, practice tests, and feedback; maintain session notes in our portal.
- Communicate with Parents: Provide constructive feedback to parents after sessions regarding student milestones, struggles, and actionable steps for home support.
- Build Confidence: Offer motivational and emotional encouragement to help students overcome learning anxieties and develop independent study habits.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Certification: Valid teaching license or relevant tutoring certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of classroom teaching or private tutoring experience at the primary/elementary level.
- Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills to connect with young children and parents.
