About the Procurement Specialist Role

As a Procurement Specialist, you will oversee the acquisition of goods and services that support our operational needs. Your role will ensure that purchases are made timely, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain smooth procurement processes and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supply, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.

Solid understanding of procurement processes and supplier relationship management.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or procurement systems is advantageous.

Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Membership in The Zambian Institute of Purchasing and Supply is required.
