About Talent House Ltd:

We are a leading recruitment and HR consulting firm that operates as a link between people and companies in achieving a shared purpose. We offer creative, effective and flexible solutions that not only help individuals discover their career paths but provide organizations with talent they can recruit, develop and retain.

About the role:

Our client is looking for a Project Lead for their New Market Expansion. The Project Lead will be the "CEO of the Launch." They will be responsible for the execution of our client’s entry into the new market. They will navigate complex regulatory environments, build local partnerships, and coordinate cross-functional teams to go from 10 hubs to 60 hubs to 120 hubs in the country. This is a high-stakes role that requires a blend of strategic thinking, "hustle," and technical project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Entry Strategy: Conduct deep-dive research into local labor laws, competitor landscapes, and technical infrastructure in markets.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead the roadmap for Site Validation, Hub construction, Technical Operations, and Hypercare support and commercial execution.
  • Act as most senior team member in country: Build, line manage and develop local teams, ensuring execution quality and compliance throughout
  • Health & Safety: Ensure operating environments and practices are safe and maintain culture of “safety first” and deploy tools to monitor compliance with best practices
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary interface between our client and local government agencies, regulatory bodies and local stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  • Operational Setup: Oversee the physical and digital setup of local operations, including sourcing office space (if needed) and local recruitments, including agents.
  • Performance Governance: Define, track, and own the Success Metrics (OKRs) for the first 90 days of launch, including cost-per-acquisition, active customers, revenue, and operational efficiency.
  • Pilot Performance and Iteration: Drive the overall performance of the pilot gathering insights, learning from mistakes, and iterating on our market entry strategy to build momentum within the country and establish enough credible data to make a go/no go decision at each phase of the pilot.
  • Executive Reporting: Develop and present regular performance updates to leadership on the status of the pilot, key metrics, lessons learned, and strategic pivots/iterations that you would propose.

Minimum Qualifications/ Traits:

  • Experience: 5+ years in Strategy, Operations, or Project Management (experience in a high-growth start up company or management consulting is highly preferred).
  • 3 years of experience in the Renewable Energy Industry desired.
  • Technology Savvy: You don't need to code, but you must be able to speak the language of engineers. You understand API integrations, localization challenges, and data-driven decision-making (SQL is a major plus).
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous environments. You are comfortable being in the field 80% of the time as well as solving a technical bug in the morning and meeting a government official in the afternoon.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is mandatory; you should be able to whip data into a clear story to influence senior leadership.
