JOB PURPOSE

Provide overall strategic, operational and financial leadership of Incotech Solutions' integrated e-waste Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), ensuring the GreenTech4CE facility meets its grant objectives, commercial targets and regulatory obligations. Serve as the accountable owner for facility performance, stakeholder relations and the safe, compliant recovery of value from Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own delivery of the GreenTech4CE grant work-plan, milestones and reporting to the EU-supported programme, MD and Board, ensuring co-financing and disbursement conditions are met.
  • Set annual production, throughput and material-recovery targets across collection, dismantling, refurbishment, ITAD and mechanical processing, and hold managers to account against them.
  • Approve and monitor the facility mass-balance framework so that tonnage received, processed, recovered, refurbished and residual-to-disposal reconciles and is auditable.
  • Secure and maintain ZEMA licences and permits and drive the facility towards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.
  • Develop the collector network and offtake strategy for recovered metals, plastics and printed circuit boards, approving material sales and downstream refiner contracts.
  • Approve annual budgets, capital expenditure on plant (shredder, separation lines, weighbridge) and pricing for collection, ITAD and refurbished-goods sales.
  • Represent Incotech to regulators, EU delegation, local authorities, OEMs, corporate WEEE generators and community stakeholders.
  • Build the organisation structure, oversee phased recruitment and embed a safety-first, circular-economy culture across all grades.
  • Chair the monthly management review covering production, HSE incidents, compliance status, financial performance and grant reporting.
  • Escalate strategic, legal or reputational risks to the MD and Board with recommended mitigations.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Strategic and commercial acumen; strong grasp of circular-economy and WEEE value chains; financial and budget management; regulatory and stakeholder engagement; leadership of multidisciplinary teams; results orientation and sound judgement under ambiguity.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Business or related field (Master's/MBA an advantage); minimum 8-10 years' senior operational/general management experience, ideally in recycling, waste management, manufacturing or heavy industry, with demonstrable P&L ownership and donor/grant-funded project exposure.

Note; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
