Royal Therapy Mental Health Services is inviting applications from qualified, passionate, and dedicated individuals to fill the following positions:
Position 2: Psycho-Social Counsellor
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Hold a Grade 12 School Certificate.
- Hold a Diploma in Psychosocial Counselling.
- Be registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
- Be based in Ndola or willing to work from Ndola.
- Be ready and available to start work immediately.
- Possess excellent counselling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Be compassionate, emotionally resilient, and committed to supporting clients' recovery.
Experience needed
- Experience in mental health, rehabilitation, or healthcare will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities or duties
- Provide individual, group, and family counselling.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop intervention plans.
- Facilitate psychoeducation and relapse prevention sessions.
- Maintain accurate counselling records and case notes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Monitor clients' progress and provide follow-up support.
- Participate in community mental health awareness and outreach programmes.
- Provide individual, group, and family counselling.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop intervention plans.
- Facilitate psychoeducation and relapse prevention sessions.
- Maintain accurate counselling records and case notes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Monitor clients' progress and provide follow-up support.
- Participate in community mental health awareness and outreach programmes.
- Excellent counselling skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Grade 12 School Certificate
- Diploma in Psychosocial Counselling
