Job Purpose
We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures, while ensuring value for money and compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure projects remain within budget.
- Evaluate contractor quotations and negotiate contracts.
- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
- Conduct site visits and assessments.
- Advise management on contractual and commercial matters.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare progress reports and financial updates.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Skills & Competencies
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Team player with a positive attitude

- Membership with a relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
