Job Summary:

We are seeking two professional and highly motivated Receptionists to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring a smooth guest experience, and upholding the hotel’s service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and check-in/check-out guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings and guest information
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Process payments and maintain proper billing records
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in hospitality (hotel experience preferred)
  • Relevant Zambian hospitality certification and/or formal education in hospitality
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills; confident and outspoken
  • Quick learner with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
