New Fairmount Hotel is seeking an experienced, professional, and customer-oriented Receptionist to join its team in Livingstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for guests while ensuring the efficient operation of the hotel's front office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Answer telephone calls, emails, and respond to guest inquiries.
  • Manage reservations and update booking systems accurately.
  • Process guest payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure excellent guest service.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or front office role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Good computer and reservation system skills.
  • Hardworking, focused, dynamic, and professional.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
