RECORDS DIGITISATION INTERNS
Mukuba Pension Trust invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals to fill the position of Records Digitisation Intern (2 Positions).The internship opportunity aims to support the institution’s records digitisation project and enhance efficient information management systems.
Job Purpose
To support the digitisation of physical records by ensuring accurate scanning, organisation, and management of both physical and electronic documents in line with established records management standards.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for the following:
- Sort, classify, and prepare documents for digitisation
- Scan and digitise records using designated scanning equipment
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of scanned documents
- Organise and maintain both physical and digital filing systems
- Track and update records to ensure proper documentation and retrieval
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate
- Diploma in Records Management, Library and Information Studies, or related field
Skills and Attributes
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- High levels of integrity and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Terms of Engagement
- Location: Kitwe
- Duration: 6 Months (Fixed-Term Internship)
