Beeline Telecoms Limited (Trading as ZedMobile) and its subsidiaries is a Telecommunications Company whose line of Business is selling Telecommunication products and services to consumers, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and corporates business and is incorporated in Zambia with its Head Office located in Lusaka, Zambia.
ROLE REQUIREMENT
The key and primary focus of the role will be to drive sales growth, manage sales teams and building strong customer relationships while promoting and selling ZedMobile products and services within their designated region. This position will report to the Country manager.
- To develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Telecoms market to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
- Lead, motivate and manage a team of Sales Representatives, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet individual and team sales goals
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance, preparing regular reports for Management to track progress against targets and identify areas for improvement
- Participate in the recruitment and training of Market Development Executives and Direct Sales Agents ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles
- Builds capacity in distributor sales staff by accompanying them in the trade and providing coaching on sales activities to ensure distributor coverage effectiveness in the area assigned in line with planned targets
- Identifies training needs amongst distributor staff and liaises with Business Development Manager for execution
- Ensure that resources are allocated effectively to maximise sales potential
- Work closely with marketing, product development and customer service teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and enhance customer experience
- Basic GSM and Telecommunication Fundamentals
- Degree/Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent other.
