Job Title: Regional Lubricants Manager – Southern

Mount Meru Petroleum Zambia seeks an experienced Regional Lubricants Manager to oversee our lubricants business in Southern Zambia, based in Lusaka

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business plans to drive growth and profitability in the lubricants business in Southern Zambia, across diverse sectors such as mining, energy, construction, automobile, industrial, agriculture, and retail.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Lead a team of sales and operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure achievement of sales targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage inventory levels, logistics, and distribution networks to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure business performance is tracked and optimized.Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a similar field, with a postgraduate qualification in Business Administration preferred.
  • MBA is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in downstream sales of petroleum products, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in diverse sectors such as mining, energy, construction, automobile, industrial, agriculture, and retail.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales leadership, team management, and business development.
  • Strong understanding of the lubricants industry, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
