Registration Of Suppliers
Period: April 2026 – March 2028

WaterAid Zambia operates in Lusaka, Southern, and Western Provinces, supporting communities to achieve sustainable improvements in quality of life through enhanced domestic water supply, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
WaterAid Zambia hereby invites applications from established, reputable, and legally registered business entities to be considered for inclusion on its Supplier Database for the provision of goods, works, and services for a period of two (2) years, from April 2026 to March 2028.
Please note: Under each category, a maximum of ten (10) suppliers will be selected, subject to meeting WaterAid Zambia’s evaluation and due diligence requirements.
A. GOODS
- Office supplies and stationery
- Office equipment (printers, copiers, scanners, shredders, etc.)
- Office furniture and fittings
- Computers, ICT hardware, and accessories
- Motor vehicles, motorcycles, spare parts, and accessories
- Tyres, batteries, and automotive consumables
- Electrical and electronic equipment
- Safety and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Health, medical, laboratory, and water testing equipment
- Cleaning materials and consumables
B. SERVICES
Maintenance and servicing of office equipment (printers, copiers, computers, and related ICT equipment)
Analogue PABX systems and telephone line services
Maintenance and servicing of fire extinguishers and fire safety equipment
Installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems
Events management and conference facilities
Internet service provision and ICT support services
Cleaning, janitorial, and sanitary services
Customs clearing and forwarding services
Hotels, lodges, and accommodation services
Courier and express delivery services
Printing, publishing, branding, and promotional materials
Insurance services (vehicles, office assets, and general insurance)
Travel agency and ticketing services
Car hire and fleet management services
Advertising services (Above-the-Line and Below-the-Line)
Security and guarding services
Media production (filming, photography, production, and live streaming)
Research, monitoring, evaluation, and consultancy services
Social media influencer advertising and digital advocacy
Creative media agencies (graphic design, infographics, animations)
Media advertising (TV airtime, radio airtime, print space)
Social media and digital advertising (online media houses)
Transportation, distribution, warehousing, and logistics services
Drama and Cultural Groups
Language Interpretation and translation services
C. CONSTRUCTION AND TECHNICAL SERVICES
Supply of building and construction materials
Civil works and construction contractors (grade 4 and 5)
Borehole drilling, rehabilitation, and equipping services
Renewable energy suppliers (solar systems and accessories)
Pumps and pumping solutions
Hydrogeology consultancy services
Engineering consultancy services
Architectural consultancy services
Excavation and earth-moving equipment suppliers
Water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) infrastructure services
Electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs
Plumbing installation and maintenance services
Mechanical works
E. HEALTH, MEDICAL, AND CHEMICAL SUPPLIES
Medical and first-aid equipment
Laboratory and water quality testing and equipment
Chemicals for water treatment and sanitation
F. CONSULTANCY SERVICES
Technical, social, environmental, and governance consultants
Policy research and advocacy
Capacity building and training consultants
G. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Interested applicants must submit the following documents:
- Company profile
- Copy of Certificate of Registration or Incorporation
- Copy of valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Copy of VAT Registration Certificate (ZRA), where applicable
- For Category C suppliers:
- Valid WARMA registration for drilling companies
- Valid NCC registration for contractors
- Valid EIZ registration for engineering firms
- Bank reference letter and bank account details
- Physical business address, telephone numbers, and email address
IMPORTANT NOTES
Registration on the Supplier Database does not guarantee automatic award of business.
All procurement will be conducted in accordance with WaterAid Zambia’s procurement policies and procedures, including competitive bidding, evaluation, and due diligence processes.
No registration or application fees are required or expected from any bidder.
SUBMISSION DETAILS
Completed applications must be deposited in the tender box at the WaterAid Zambia Lusaka Office by close of business on 09 March 2026.
All applications must be clearly marked:
“Registration of Suppliers - [Category] - for the Period April 2026 – March 2028”
