Livingstone Institute of Business and Engineering Studies (LIBES) one of the 28 Public TEVET Institutions under the Ministry of Technology and Science is inviting qualified, suitably, and highly motivated Individuals to apply for the following vacant positions: -

Job Purpose

Successful candidates for position of Lecturer will be expected to Plan and deliver high quality training as well as Lecture both full-time and Distance Learning Students, conduct research, consultancy and provide service to the wider community.

Registry Intern (01)

Reporting to: Registry Officer

Job Purpose

To provide administrative support in the management of physical and electronic records by ensuring accurate filing, retrieval, tracking, and safekeeping of documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, register, and file incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Maintain physical and electronic filing systems
  • Label, index, and classify files according to the institutional filing system.
  • Assist in opening new files and closing inactive files.
  • Ensure proper storage and preservation of confidential records.
  • Scan and digitize documents where required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information handled.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits or better including Mathematics and English.
  • Diploma or Degree in Record Management, Library and Information Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Recent graduate seeking internship placement.
  • Basic knowledge of records and document management principles.
  • Honest and reliable with high moral strength.
  • Innovative and proactive.

Skills and Competencies

  • Good organization and filing skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
