About the Role
Tauro Mining Ltd is currently recruiting for experienced Riggers and Multi-Skilled Operators to join the team at Kansanshi Mine in Northwestern Zambia.
These full-time roles are critical to the safe and efficient handling of lifting, hoisting, and earthmoving operations supporting mining activities. Safety remains Tauro Mining Ltd's top priority.
RIGGER - 2 Positions
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate rigging equipment to safely lift heavy loads
- Perform routine inspections to ensure rigging gear complies with safety standards
- Strictly follow company and mine safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, machine operators, and other team members to complete assigned tasks
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Valid Silicosis Certificate
- Valid EIZ Certificate
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in rigging, preferably within mining or heavy industry sectors
- Possession of a valid rigging certification or equivalent qualification
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in challenging environments
- Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
