JOB DETAILS:
Background
Using a hydraulic hammer attament on a excavator to reduces large, oversized rocks into smaller, manageable pieces using hydraulic hammers mounted on an Excavator and is used to break up and demolish hard, rock-like structures in the open pit mining environment
Responsibilities
- Operate the rock breaker safely and efficiently
- Break rocks and boulders to specific millimetres
- Perform routine checks and maintenance familiar with Operators Checklist inputs
- Collaborate with teams and supervisors
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications and Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- 3 to 4 years experience
- Grade 12 a must
- Excavator operstor certification
- valid silicosis certificate
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: high school
