JOB DETAILS:

Progress Likobama Consultant Group is seeking a Safety Manager.

Qualifications or requirements 

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Safety Management or a related field. Relevant professional certification in Occupational Health and Safety will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and mining safety practices. Valid Silicosis Certificate/Medical Clearance required. Valid First Aid Certificate required. Strong leadership, communication, analytical and reporting skills. All academic and professional qualifications must be verified/validated by ZAQA where applicable.

Experience needed

5–8 years of relevant Safety experience, preferably in the mining or heavy industrial sector. Previous managerial or supervisory experience will be an added advantage.
